Residents

Welcome to Parkglen

Parkglen is home to 648 families. We are a multi ethnic family friendly group. Our residents work in a variety of white and blue collar trades. We have everyone from young families just starting and retirees who have lived here for decades.

Parkglen has a number of amenities including an Olympic size swimming pool with a kids swim team and a playground for the kids. We are presently looking at adding amenities in our large open field. We have a number of family functions throughout the year by the Civic Association building and pool. In addition other activities like yoga are offered. Residents are allowed to rent the Civic Association building for their activities.

Parkglen is in the City of Houston, Harris County with the Western border on Fort Bend County.
We are in the Alief school district (AISD). We are zoned for Smith Elementary which is a State recognized school along with other AISD and private schools in the vicinity. We are conveniently located near the intersection of US59 and the Beltway. There is an abundance of department stores, restaurants, churches, grocery stores and theaters within just a few miles. There are also several City parks within a few minutes’ drive including walking trails and ball parks.

Parkglen grew up from a rice farm to a country subdivision between 1967 and 1972. Our first generation of kids has grown up and some are now raising their kids in our subdivision. We welcome you to come and look around. Please check our website Parkglen.net for more information and detail. Please feel free to contact the board members via email (board@parkglen.net) or phone 832-506-8942. Please leave a message as the phone is not manned all the time.
