Why The Parkglen HOA Is Important.
The Parkglen Homeowners Association (“Parkglen HOA”) is an organizations created to develop, secure, and generally care for Parkglen. The Parkglen HOA is a not-for-profit entity that is governed by a board of directors, all of whom are resident volunteers.
While residents may oftentimes disagree, the HOA helps preserve the community’s property values by overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the properties within the neighborhood. In general, HOAs enforce community standards for upkeep, appearance, and more; an enforcement that is valuable to the interests of every homeowner.
The Parkglen HOA:
Maintains common areas, such as the trees and the entrances.
Provides and maintains the community amenities, such as the playground, swimming pool, soccer field and civic center.
Settles troublesome disputes between neighbors or other neighborhood concerns.
Set aside funding for future projects that benefit the neighborhood.
While the deed restrictions may seem overbearing to some, without them there would be no standard for what is expected for the overall appearance of a neighborhood.
Parkglen HOA is always looking for and accepting volunteers! From contributing valuable community ideas to providing physical labor for a community project, your contribution is greatly appreciated. Please reach out to the board via email or by phone if you are interested in joining.
