Here are few items to help you along in the process of purchasing or selling a home in Parkglen.
Deed Restrictions: Parkglen is a deed-restricted community. The deed restrictions govern the use of the property and prevent certain types of development and construction and much more. The deed restrictions have been in place since the neighborhood was founded. They are available online under the Resources tab. If you have any questions, please call 281-530-6397 or email the Parkglen HOA at parkglen2021@gmail.com. The HOA can review your plans for free to make sure you are not in violation of the deed restrictions.
Fees: All properties in Parkglen are subject to fees when a property transfers or refinances. These administrative fees cover our expenses of providing any information requested and then changing/updating our records as needed. Types of information requested are any assessments owed or paid, property conditions, and current violations. These requests must be made in WRITING by either the owner of the property, the owner’s agent, buyer, or buyer’s agent. All requests will be responded to within 7 business days.
Transfer Fee: $175
A transfer occurs when the property is changing ownership. A current Statements of Account for the property requested is provided with this option.Statement of Accounts: $175
A statement of an account is a document intended to inform the title company of monies to be collected at the time of closing. Due to privacy practices, parties other than the homeowner or the title company cannot order the Statement of Account document.
Resale Certificate: $350
Resale certificates include the Deed Restrictions, Parkglen By-Laws and a Statement of Account. All Resale Certificates include the transfer fee of $175.Refinance Fee: $175
A refinance occurs when the property is not changing hands but the owner is refinancing the loan. Payment is usually made at closing and is made with the title company who forwards payment to the Parkglen CIA.Registered Mail Fee (if requested): $35
Hard copies are available upon request. Hard copies sent via certified registered mail will result in an additional $35 charge.RUSH Fee: $100
Applicable for requests that need to be completed within 2 (two) business days. This fee is in addition to the Transfer; Statement of Accounts; Resale or Refinance Fees.
Methods of Payment Accepted:
Check or Money Order- Make it payable to “Parkglen CIA” and mail to: Parkglen CIA, P.O. Box 1974, Stafford, TX 77497.
Zelle- Send to: Parkglenar@gmail.com and include the following in the memo: Transfer Fee Payment for [Street Address].

Request for HOA Fees and Account Status
All requests for Statements of Account of a Parkglen property must be made in writing and include a completed copy of the New Owner Contact Form. Emails must be sent to parkglen2021@gmail.com. We do not accept requests made over the phone.
Buyer Information
It is very important that correct and current information for buyers is provided to Parkglen CIA at the time of transfer so that we may provide the new owners with important correspondence about their new property. Please complete and submit the New Owner Contact Form.
Landlord's Responsibilities
The Parkglen HOA expects both the renter and homeowner, to abide by the regulations which are included in the Deed Restrictions section of this website.(https://www.parkglen.net/docs) Landlords must enforce Parkglen's rules when tenants lease property from them. Homeowners must abide by the maintenance guidelines of Parkglen.
Landlords should ensure renters follow all HOA rules in their rental agreements.
Homeowners should provide rental agreements with HOA rules to tenants. These legal documents ensure renters comply with the association's regulations. The contracts should contain the landlord's emergency contact information.
Property owners must give governing documents (CC&Rs) and HOA rules to tenants before they move in.
Homeowners are responsible for tenants' violations. Renters must submit all requests to the HOA through the property owners.
